Christy, who I lived with in Kampala the first 2 months I was in Uganda, came up to Louisville over Labor Day to visit me and the Barnetts, who worked in Kampala as well and are now stateside for a few months before taking a new position. It was fun to be with missionary friends again...there's just a unique bond we share. A lot of people think life on the mission field is so hard because you have to leave your family and 'home', but to me it is so fun because you gain a new family...your mission family.

hey i know the barretts- they were at mlc with me. tell them I said hi. I forgot they were from Lousiville. ;) good to see you last saturday.
