I was able to celebrate my 23rd birthday (Jan. 20th) with other friends serving here. We had some great chinese food...yes they have chinese food in Africa! But no birthday cake for me....only this awesome watermelon fruit bowl. They carved "Happy Birthday" on it and placed a candle on top while the Ugandan waiters sang to me! It was a birthday I will not forget.
