This is a typical "water hole" where people come to get their drinking water out in the villages. Can you imagine drinking this water? We always teach our patients to be sure and boil their water before drinking, but that is not always possible...it's very expensive to boil water and time consuming. It's amazing the children are not more sick, but they build up a resistence and are able to eat and drink things that could kill us Americans!
