This is the ISS (Immune Supression Syndrome) Clinic or AIDS clinic. I usually work at this clinic on Wednesdays triaging patients (taking weights, blood pressure, and temps) and asking them small questions in Runyankore. This clinic is growing daily. We now have over 6,000 patients! Uganda is so blessed because we receive more of President Bush's 'AIDS money' than any other country in the world. The clinic is totally free and most patients receive free drugs as well! There is still some stigma here assoiciated with HIV/AIDS, but there is so much AIDS awareness teaching going on here which is really encouraging.
